Hello my beautiful princesses (because that’s what you are).
Today is all of our lucky day because I have found us the ultimate princess house. This beautiful English Victorian actually hurts to look at, so if you have a weak heart, take heed (and stay away from red-headed congressmen, ok??). I love this house for millions of reasons but I will name two for starters:
1) I have so much love for anything that is so unabashedly romantic and girly. I can so easily imagine this home filled with women running around, borrowing dresses, drinking tea on the floor in the hallways, laughing, baking, dancing. I love that shit.
2) The transition rooms: think hallways, stairways, windows, archways, doorways–areas that look from one room to the next. This home has so many good ones. They’re the best because they always seem to inspire the best conversation, summon the most flattering light, and, if you anchor yourself down in one, can become a kind of ephemeral sanctuary. It’s usually also where the best architectural details are, which this place has no shortage of. I had a hard time editing the volume of photos (I didn’t even try), so this post might be quite long. Hopefully you’ll forgive me.
